環台 Cycling around Taiwan (2017年4月17日~2017年4月28日)

單車環台，是我們在康橋的最後一個菁英活動，也為我們的高中生涯撇下了新的開始。

在正式接受車訓前，我是一個不會騎腳踏車的人。因此，我以前認為單車環台對我來說是一個不可能的任務。

Cycling around Taiwan is the last activity in “Exploring Taiwan Program”. It also sparks the start of the life in high school.

Before starting the bike training officially, I was one of those people who don’t know how to ride the bike. Therefore, I thought cycling around Taiwan was an impossible mission for me.

第一天， 帶著期待的心情前往陽光公園，然而身心卻覺得還沒為接下來的12天旅行做好準備。因為環台第一天前晚熬夜做功課，所以第一天我是睡眼惺忪的。出發前，家人為我們做最後的叮嚀，然而我卻似乎還沒準備好接下來的12天不會見到家人。做好最後的準備後，這趟旅行正式開始。

First day, with excited mood, I went to Yangguang Sports Park. However, it seemed that I was not ready for the upcoming 12-days trip physically and mentally. Because I had stayed up late the night before, so I looked drowsy. Before we started off, my family gave me the last encouragement and warning. After the last preparation, this trip officially started.

第五天，是我們要騎這趟環台的旅行的最大魔王關-壽卡。之前一直聽學長姊和老師們說壽卡非常陡，非常難騎，也非常危險。到了當天我才真正體會原來壽卡那麼難。爬壽卡前一小段我就已經脫隊了，但是到最後我還是努力不懈地往前騎，跟上隊伍，到最後一起完成了壽卡。到飯店時，大家都收到了來自爸媽的信。許多人都深深受到爸媽的愛而感動地流淚。這天可以說是環台最辛苦的一天，但爬完壽卡後我更能體會到我們班變得更團結了。

Day 5 is the day that we had to conquer the biggest challenge in this trip, which is riding to Shoukatiemayi Station. I had heard from seniors that the track to Shoukatiemayi Station is very hard to ride, because it is very steep and dangerous. I just realized how difficult riding Shoukatiemayi is at the fifth day. Although I already had been departed from the team since I started riding Shoukatiemayi, I still kept a positive attitude and persisted through the challenges. At last, I arrived at Shoukatiemayi Station together with my teammates. After we arrived at the hotel, everybody got the letters from our parents. Many people cried because of their parents’ love to them. I can definitely say that day 5 is the most challenging and difficult day. After we conquered Shoukatiemayi Station, I realized that 10B became more united than ever.

第八天，是我們舉辦成年禮的那天。爸媽親自從台北來到台南的孔廟為我們冕冠。這是一個很有意義的活動，因為這也證明了我們成年了。我們必須更加負責任，更加懂事。

Day 8 is the day we had our “Coming of Age.” My parents came from Taipei to Tainan for this ceremony. This is a very meaningful activity, because it proves that we entered our adulthood, which means that we need to be more responsible for yourself.

這趟旅行不能沒有你。我由衷感謝所有人，不管是遠在台北還為我們祈禱祝福的爸媽、騎車過程中一起打氣加油的同學們、休息時間一起玩樂的朋友們、隨時注意我們安危的老師、拿著麥克風領導著我們的可樂哥哥和阿仁哥哥、在背後默默付出的捷安特團隊，或是騎著機車拿著麥克風提醒我們別睡著的教官。謝謝你們的陪伴，讓我這趟旅行既安全又開心。

單車環台，或許不是菁英活動中最累的，或許不是菁英活動中最辛苦的，騎車過程中也不會像爬雪山、嘉明湖一樣見證台灣的風景，然而，這是菁英活動中，不管是距離還是時間都是最長的。在這麼長的時間內，我學到了許多寶貴的生命道理，也增進了我跟朋友們之前的情誼。
